Buying a new car? Or do you simply enjoy trying out new cars? Well, this festival is for you, your family, and your friends! We chanced upon this underdog event when we went around SM Mall of Asia’s grounds after going to the Trans Sport Show 2017(see article here: http://portal.autosupply.ph/blog/?p=554&preview=true). We felt giddy, and actually hurried up to the lined tents to see which cars were there. Lo and behold, many of the usual crowd favorite
brands like Toyota, Honda, Ford, Mitsubishi were present, along with brand newcomers like Tata, and Mahindra.

Unlike usual test drive events or instances where only a few selected cars are available (i.e. Vios for Toyota, and the likes), here a wide range is given. You can experience driving and/or riding cars ranging from a Vios to a Toyota 86! A track is provided in the center with cones for turning points, and parking points, so you can fully experience the handling of the car. Beverages are served for free at some booths if you get thirsty in the hot weather, Ford’s booth even gives out stubs for hotdogs and ice cream, and Toyota’s booth serves 2 kinds of juices, your choice of Nescafe drinks, and even handed out some Conti’s goods.

Crowd Favorite

Out of all the cars we tested, estimating about 70% of cars offered, we had one clear winner. I asked everyone who came with me which car did they like riding and driving the most, and in unison they said “DURANGO!”

Crowd Favorite Dodge Durango

Immaculate black leather seats, great air conditioning for all seat rows plus a bonus a/c for the legs of those at the last row seats, spacious leg room and seating. We all fell

parking assist feature

in love with the Dodge Durango, noting that the unit for test was only the base unit. It has parking assist feature with a warning beep for blind spots for those who find it hard to park backwards.

Another noteworthy feature is the automatic adjusting driver’s seat. Once you start the engine, the driver’s seat automatically adjusts to the driver’s height and leg length by moving the seat forward or backward, and reclining it. I was amazed as it actually got the perfect position for me.
